Consultancy

Our expertise and laboratories are available to university and industrial members. The SU-CTC serves stakeholders throughout different stages of the R&D cycle depending on the customer’s requirements, encompassing basic research, prototyping and pilot production. The main topics include monomer design, polymer formulations, advanced thermoset and thermoplastic composite design and production, nanointegration, resin development, additive manufacturing, 3D printing, robotics and machining and computational design.

Incubation Centers

SU-IMC acts as a center for incubation services as well as commercialization opportunities in composite manufacturing technologies and develop a supply chain for start-ups’ products.

Kordsa – Sabancı University Joint Composite R&D Labs

3.350 m2 laboratory infrastructure. SU-IMC has different production and testing laboratories: Wet Chemistry Laboratory, Material Characterization Laboratory, Polymer Processing Laboratory, Additive Manufacturing Laboratory, Advanced Composite Laboratory, Mechanical Characterization and Non-destructive Testing Laboratory, Clean Room and Autoclaves, and Robotics and Unconventional Manufacturing Laboratory, Computational Advanced Design.
